rebound love
Rebound Therapy by Jerica MacMillan
Jenna Anderson is still stuck in her grief a year after her fiance died in a tragic accident. All she does is go to work and spend time at home, her former spark gone. Her best friend decides she needs a rebound guy to have some fun and start to live again.
Brian MacCallum is the hot owner of the wine bar where Amy takes Jenna. He has a mischievous grin that he wields like a weapon to convince Jenna to give him a chance.
I loved this little love story about love, guilt and grief. At first Jenna isn’t much into the idea of a rebound lover, something her friend Amy came up with, but she plays along, goes to the wine bar and she meets Brian and her live changes from a lonely and sad existence into a life of joy and love. Then her past encounters her again and she is swept into a storm of grief and guilt again. The story wasn’t very long, but I liked it very much. Jerica MacMillan did a great job, talking about loves lost, feelings of remorse and love relived.
