hot and engaging
I absolutely adored this book. It was sassy, very hot sometimes and emotional too. Samanthe Beck describes her characters in a way that they come to life. I loved Beau, especially when I read about what he went through and I admired Savannah, trying to make it as an artist. The chemistry between them burns so brightly and is so well written. Here's what it's all about:
Savannah Smith, a glass artist, expected a marriage proposal for Thanksgiving. She never expected it from her strong, silent and super-hot neighbour though. A misplace mail and a can of paint lands her hottie neighbour and her in a compromising position as her family arrives for dinner assuming he is “The One” she’s been talking about for the last weeks.
And then his family shows up to celebrate Thanksgiving. When Beau Montgomery’s mother cries tears of joy over his surprise engagement to the sexy little blonde next door, he can’t bring himself to break her heart by setting the matters straight. He isn’t about to put his heart at risk again after fate had dealt a crippling blow to it. He manages to talk Savannah into being his fake fiancée long enough to survive the holidays.
